Handsome Farms is located 30 minutes north of Portland, Oregon.
We have owned and bred AKC Parson Russell Terriers, formerly Jack Russell Terriers, since 1992. We choose Parsons/Jacks because they go together with horses and farm life. This breed is a sturdy, non fragile, wash and go type dog. Many people think they are "hyper" and can be, if not excercised properly...as with any other breed. These dogs are what you put into them, certainly not couch pototoes or lazy, they are active. Yet a simple walk or even a car ride is enough to keep them happy.
